As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in its report as of 6 a.m. Jan. 22 on Facebook.
According to the HQ, militants were shelling Ukrainian positions during the night using Minsk-banned weapons.
"The enemy was conducting fire upon our strong points in Pisky, Opytne, Krasnohorivka, and Marinka from grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
"It was unquiet at the Svitlodarsk salient, where our soldiers who are holding positions near Troitske and Zaitseve were shelled by the enemy from large-caliber machine guns, and used a grenade launcher near Maiorsk," the message reads.
It is also reported that at Mariupol direction, militants used mortars and an anti-tank missile system to shell a strong point of the ATO forces near Talakivka; near Starohnativka, the enemy applied a 120-mm mortar.
At the Luhansk direction, the enemy was using an automated grenade launcher to fire near Zolote.
According to the report, the total of 69 cases of cease-fire violation by pro-Russian mercenaries were recorded yesterday.
