The Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv upheld Jan. 20 the complaint of people's deputy Ihor Lutsenko against Deputy Prosecutor General Vitalii Kasko.

Ihor Lutsenko confirmed the information in a comment to Censor.NET.

The court ordered the National Anti-Corruption Bureau to enter the information on a criminal offense committed by Kasko into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.

"Yes, indeed, the Solomianskyi district court upheld the complaint filed after the NABU refused to do it in violation of the law. I appealed against their position, and the court seems to be on my side, although I have not seen the written decision. As far as I know, it will be ready tomorrow," Lutsenko said.

Lutsenko has repeatedly asked for investigation into Kasko's acquiring two service apartments and a land plot which were further illegally privatized.

As previously reported, the anti-corruption prosecutor election commission refused in November 2015 to support Kasko upon learning about his schemes with apartments.
