If the militants continue firing at patrols of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), the Minsk process will be terminated. Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM in Ukraine Alexander Hug expressed such opinion at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Lіga.
"If the leaders of those who commit attacks on the OSCE observers keep doing so, they will completely lose credibility. And when they lose credibility, the Minsk process will be stopped, we will not be able to do our jobs and there will be no settlement of the situation," he said.
At the same time, Hug expressed confidence that the OSCE mission in Ukraine would continue fulfilling its task "as far as it is possible to fulfill the mission by the efforts of unarmed observers."
