Every effort is taken to disrupt ratification of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, - Ukraine's Ambassador to the Netherlands

Ukraine's Ambassador to the Netherlands Oleksandr Horin does not rule out further provocations by Russia in the run-up to the referendum on the ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement .

He said it in an interview with Censor.NET.

"I have rather serious feeling that these provocations may continue in the future. Because now, every effort is taken to disrupt the ratification process," Horin said.

He also noted that the Dutch are very pragmatic people and need to see what benefits they will receive from the deal with Ukraine. But ratification of the agreement, Horin believes, is beneficial both for Ukraine and the Netherlands.

"This is for sure. Everyone talks about it. It's about free trade and strengthening security at the borders of the European Union. Finally, it's about fighting corruption - one of the main issues highlighted everywhere. And, in principle, the Association Agreement is sufficiently effective to help overcome the corruption," the diplomat stressed.
