 2,998 POWs released from terrorists' captivity

2,998 persons were liberated from the terrorists' captivity in the Donbas. 131 persons remain imprisoned by the terrorists.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the SBU. Negotiations continue about all-for-all exchange prescribed by the Minsk Agreements.

A Joint Coordination Center for search, release of illegally detained persons and hostages, and establishing the whereabouts of missing persons in the area of anti-terrorist operation has been created.

"We thank all the volunteers and social activists who have been helping us for a long time to save the hostages. We stay side by side with those who have truly plunged into other people's lives, supporting the families of the hostages. We work together and believe that we will complete this thing. We will return everyone without exception. There is result when each step is weighed and people are not looking for vanity or benefits, and when they have only one motivation, that is selfless aid," the SBU stressed.
