 Terrorists committed over 60 attacks yesterday, used grenade launchers and anti-tank missile system, - ATO press center

The Russian terrorist gangs opened fire at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces more than 60 times over the past day.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the ATO press center as of 6 a.m. Jan. 15.

"The enemy carried out short and, in most cases, indiscriminate attacks near the Donetsk airport and north of Horlivka from 6 p.m. to midnight yesterday. In particular, the militants employed small arms and occasionally grenade launchers against the Ukrainian troops positions near Pisky, Opytne, south of Avdiivka, and Novhorodske. They also used large-caliber machine guns to fire at Pervomaisk, Troitske, which is located not far from the section of the demarcation line between Horlivka and Donetsk, as well as the vicinity of Luhanske village. In addition, the criminals shelled one of our strong points near Luhanske with the anti-tank missile system," the report reads.

It was also reported that the situation near Marinka escalated yesterday afternoon. The invaders employed small arms and grenade launchers several times there while attacks of the enemy sniper were recorded as well.

"The enemy has committed more than five armed provocations against the ATO forces after midnight. The attacks with the use of small arms and grenade launchers were recorded near Pisky, Opytne, Luhanske, while the majority of the assaults were committed in the vicinity of Marinka," the headquarters reported.

At the same time, it is noted that the militants did not employ heavy weapons during the night. No attacks were conducted in the Luhansk region and near Mariupol.
