Dutch Foreign Minister does not rule out tribunal over MH17 crash

The minister of foreign affairs of the Netherlands Bert Koenders said on Thursday that international tribunal may be opened to prosecute those guilty of MH17 Boeing downing in Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports citing RIA Novosti.

"The Prosecutor's investigation is moving along quite actively. Based on this, we will decide in the next few months on inviting countries to help find the best mechanism for a [criminal] investigation at the national level or create a joint court with the countries," Koenders said during a European Parliament session in Brussels.

The Dutch Safety Board final report into the crash, released in mid-October, said a surface-to-air missile fired from the Russia-occupied territory exploded near the passenger aircraft's left side.
