 SBU prevented transfer of $450,000 and 12 million rubles to "DPR"

Security Service officers seized at Zaitseve checkpoint in the Artemivsk area $450,000 and 12 million Russian rubles (approx. $144,000) intended to be taken to the so-called "DPR."

Censor.NET reports citing SBU press service.

The report notes: "During the inspection of an SUV, law enforcers found 6 million rubles, $100,000, and 32 bank cards. The owner of the car was unable to explain the origin of the hidden money.

"Later on, SBU officers stopped another car carrying $350,000 and 6 million rubles. The driver tried to take the money across the demarcation line in violation of the rules.

"Investigative activities aimed at establishing the origin of the money and its recipients in the temporarily "DPR"-controlled territories are underway."
