 PM Yatseniuk orders to recalculate heating bills

Ukraine's Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk has ordered vice prime minister, regional development, construction and housing minister Hennadii Zubko to hold a meeting with representatives of the state heating companies regarding recalculation of heating invoices.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, the prime minister announced this during the Cabinet's meeting.

"Hold a teleconference with all regional heating companies and explain that they need to save the gas and only bill citizens for what they've received," he said.

Zubko noted that there exists a method of recalculation of heating bills if the service had been provided insufficiently.

Yatseniuk also stressed that the heating companies should understand that they could not transfer their expenses over to citizens.

As reported, Yatseniuk said there was a possibility of the heating bills recalculation.
