 Ukrainian side informed OSCE SMM on tanks, artillery systems, and MLRS Buratino deployed by militants near Horlivka and Donetsk, - Defense intelligence

The militants keep making attempts to hide weapons banned by the Minsk agreements in the ATO area, in particular, at the Mariupol direction.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy focused its efforts on strengthening of its forward detachments at the Novoaidar, Sloviansk and Donetsk directions, disguised deployment of weapons and military equipment banned by the Minsk agreements at the Mariupol direction, executing reconnaissance of the ATO forces positions and activities," the report reads.

It was also reported that the representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) were submitted information on weapons banned by the Minsk agreements including tanks, artillery systems with caliber exceeding 100 mm (SP-guns), and heavy short-range multiple rocket launcher TOS -1 Buratino deployed by the militants near Pervomaisk, Horlivka, Makiivka, Donetsk, Michuryne, and Bezimenne.

In addition, the agency reported that the situation in the ATO area remained difficult: the enemy committed 24 assaults using small arms and grenade launchers Jan. 12 including two attacks on Triokhizbenka and Krymske (Severodonetsk direction); 11 - on Luhanske, Zaitseve, Maiorsk, Novhorodske, Troitske, Verkhniotoretske (Sloviansk direction); 11 - on Butovka mine, Opytne, Pisky (Donetsk direction).
