 Gens. Lytvyn and Kolesnyk successfully reviewed but obtained no appointments in Ground Forces Command as of morning of Jan. 13

No new appointments in the Ground Forces Command have been made so far.

Censor.NET Chief Editor Yurii Butusov wrote on Facebook.

"There was information on the Internet on the appointment of Lieutenant-General Petro Lytvyn First Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces. Censor.NET has checked it in the Defense Ministry - no new appointments in the Army Command have been made as of morning of Jan. 13," Butusov wrote.

According to him, Gen. Lytvyn has actually obtained successful assessments of the State Supreme Certification Commission as well as successfully passed interviews with the Chief of Staff and Minister of Defense regarding his appointment to the post of the First Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, there is no order yet - a timeout has been taken.

"At the same time, Gen. Kolesnyk has also obtained similar assessments of the State Supreme Certification Commission for his possible appointment to the post of Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are no appointments. [The current Commander] Pushniakov must be substituted but he is in no hurry to step down," Butusov wrote.
