The letters were delivered to the illegally sentenced Ukrainians by the Ukrainian Consul in Rostov-on-Don Oleksandr Kovtun and General Consul Vitalii Moskalenko, Censor.NET reports citing TSN.
Both Sentsov and Kolchenko sent responses to Nadiya, which she has already received with the help of the Consuls. Sentsov wrote "Glory to Ukraine!" in the congratulatory message that he received from the president. Kolchenko wished Savchenko the soonest release from the enemy captivity and stamina until that time.

In turn, Sentsov wrote that he would not persuade Savchenko to stop the hunger strike adding though that he did not want her to suffer. "They are not worthy of this," Sentsov wrote.

Ukrainian consul Oleksandr Kovtun told that Savchenko had actually lost 15 kilograms, which was vividly noticeable. According to him, she is suffering from constant nausea but at the same time remains cool-headed intending to keep struggling.
