No checks of business scheduled in first half of 2016, - Anti-Monopoly Committee

Seeking deregulation and alleviation of the administrative burden on business, the Anti-Monopoly Committee does not plan any inspections of business entities in the period from Jan. 1 till June 30, 2016.

Censor.NET reports citing AMC press service's Facebook page.

"The refusal to carry out inspections corresponds to the line of the president and the government of Ukraine on deregulation and reducing of the pressure of regulatory bodies on business entities... The analysis of work of committee's territorial offices proved the routine checks were not the optimal way to control compliance with the legislation on the protection of economic competition among business entities. Under the conditions of rapid changes in Ukraine's markets, a long-term planning of inspections proves to be inefficient," the statement reads.

However, the committee noted the routine checks of state authorities and local self-government bodies would be carried out as usual.
