 Ukrainian radio resumed broadcasting in some areas of Donbas, - Ministry of Information Policy

The broadcasting of the programs of the First Ukrainian Radio was restored in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions Jan. 5, 2016 including in the city of Volnovakha at frequency of 88.7 MHz, Kostiantynivka at frequency of 89.9 MHz, and Shyrokyi at frequency of 106.9 MHz.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.

The measures have made the Ukrainian radio programs available for residents of Volnovakha, Starobeshiv, Kostiantynivka, and Krasnoarmiisk districts of the Donetsk region, partially for residents of Horlivka and Donetsk cities, as well as Stanytsia-Luhanska and Bilovodsk districts of the Luhansk region and part of Luhansk city itself.

At the same time, the Ministry of Information Policy has noted that it continues expanding the area in the east of the country covered by Ukrainian broadcasters.
