The militants in the Donbas became less active on Jan. 10. Starting from midnight, they opened fire at the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces' positions for about 10 times.

Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center. During the day, the shelling continued mostly in the vicinity of the occupied Horlivka.

In particular, the terrorists fired several times at Ukrainian military at Maiorsk and Zaitseve with rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns. Terrorist snipers fired at Ukrainian soldiers serving near the village of Opytne from the territory of the Donetsk airport. The militants fired from a heavy machine gun once on the same section of the demarcation line.

In addition, terrorists' sniper fired at the ATO forces' positions to the south of Horlivka from the terrorist-held Spartak village. Pisky village was fired at with small arms once.
