As of 6 a.m. Jan. 10, pro-Russian militants continue attacking Ukrainian soldiers, provoking them to fire back.

Censor.NET reports citing the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center.

"Over the past 24 hours, 28 cases of cease-fire violations by the pro-Russian militants were reported. The terrorists became the most active at Horlivka-Svitlodarsk salient in the vicinity of temporarily occupied city of Donetsk. Thus, the ATO forces' positions at Novhorodske village were shelled with 82-mm mortars, heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, as well as banned tank weapons. A nearby Ukrainian stronghold was fired from IFVs," the report reads.

From 6 p.m. Jan.9 till midnight, the pro-Russian hybrid units fired at Marinka, Opytne, Troitske, Avdiivka, Novhorodske, Luhanske more than once. Moreover, militants' snipers fired at the Army's positions at Opytne and Novhorodske.

The truce was observed in the Luhansk and Mariupol sectors.

Today, the militants have violated the truce only once, near Novhorodske.
