Militants forced OSCE SMM representatives to the ground and searched them near Horlivka

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine representatives were released after 35 minutes of ‘arrest’. Pro-Russian militants have also searched the SMM vehicle for some videos.

The OSCE SMM report reads, Censor.NET reports citing Channel 5.

On Jan.7, the 'DPR' militants stopped an SMM patrol and forced the SMM representatives to the ground near the town of Horlivka. The SMM vehicle was searched for video materials and SMM representatives were taken to a "military-type building". Upon arrival of a 'DPR' 'commander', who apologized for the situation, the representatives were released after 35 minutes.

It was not the first case of obstructing the work of the OSCE SMM on Jan.7. At a checkpoint in the vicinity of Kominternove village, 'DPR' terrorists stopped the OSCE SMM and denied them access, citing security reasons due to alleged sniper activity in the area.
