 One Ukrainian soldier wounded, no one killed over last 24 hours – Lysenko

Nobody was killed among Ukrainian soldiers in the ATO zone on Jan 6. However, one soldier was injured.

Representative of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine on ATO issues Colonel Andrii Lysenko said at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraina.

Lysenko noted that a Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the shelling of Marinka by the militants.

Lysenko informed that the truce was observed in the Luhansk sector, while some major attacks were conducted by the terrorists in the Donetsk sector. The militants fired at the ATO forces' positions at Horlivka, Maiorske, Zaitseve, and the Donetsk airport. "Heavy weapons were not used. The activity of the militants' snipers has decreased," Lysenko stressed.

In the Mariupol sector, the Army's positions at the villages of Hranitne and Shyrokyne were fired by the terrorists.
