The ATO press center informed at 6 a.m. on Jan.7, Censor.NET reports.
"Following the instructions of their masters from Moscow, the militants fired at Ukrainian soldiers for about 51 times. Yesterday, the terrorists fired from automatic grenade launchers near Marinka, while the ATO forces' positions at the villages of Verkhniotoretske and Hranitne (the M sector) were fired from small arms and grenade launchers," the report reads.

"Moreover, the pro-Russian hybrid units provoked Ukrainian soldiers to fight back in the vicinity of Horlivka town. Russian militants fired at the Army's positions at Maiorsk, Zaitseve and Novhorodske from heavy machine guns, various grenade launchers, and small arms.
"The terrorists continued to attack Ukrainian positions at the Donetsk airport, temporarily controlled by the militants. The ATO forces' positions at Avdiivka, Pisky and Opytne were fired from grenade launchers and small arms," the press center noted.
The militants opened fire for about ten times even after midnight. Thus, the Army's positions at the village of Novhorodske were fired from small arms, while Ukrainian soldiers at the Donetsk airport and Horlivka were fired from grenade launchers, small arms, and heavy machine guns. Just a few minutes after midnight, the ATO forces' positions at the village of Zaitseve have been shelled with banned 120 mm mortars.
