 Inflation in Ukraine exceeded 43 percent in 2015, - State Statistics Service

At the end of 2015, consumer prices in Ukraine increased by 43.3 percent.

This was reported by the State Statistics Service, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

In December 2015, inflation slowed down to 0.7 percent compared with 2 percent in November.

In particular, food and nonalcoholic beverage prices went up in December by 1.7 percent (by 41.5 percent in total over the last year), clothing and footwear prices decreased by 1.7 percent (with an overall increase by 35.0 percent during 2015), housing and utility tariffs did not change (increased by 103.0 percent over the last year), health care costs grew by 1.1 percent (by 29.1 percent in total over 2015), education fees increased by 0,2 percent (by 24.2 percent overall in 2015).
