As reported by Censor.NET, Isliamov says the participants of the blockade will now control the administrative border of the Kherson region and Crimea together with the representatives of security forces and the military.
"We will create civil groups which will be on duty at all three checkpoints (Chonhar, Chaplynka, Kalanchak) along with border guards and customs officers, and it will be in line with law. Our observation points will rotate every six hours," Isliamov said.
He also estimated the blockade as successful. One of its tangible results, he said, was Cabinet's resolution on the termination of trade with Crimea.
"Most importantly, we compelled the authorities to adopt certain legislative acts. This resolution, which has been passed, comes into force on Jan. 16, and from this moment we can start creating the battalion, forming our rear units on the basis of the National Guard," Isliamov added.
According to him, the unit will be trained for further entering the Crimean peninsula and purging it of the "secessionists who entrenched there."
