Repair works at the damaged pylon of the Kakhovska-Tytan power line near Bohdanivka village, the Kherson region, have finished, but the line has not been connected to the power supply chain.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrinform, this was announced by the Kherson state regional administration's press service referring to head of the Kherson regional department of Ukrenerho company Ihor Bosko.

"On Jan. 1, 2016 the contract for power supplies to temporarily occupied Crimea terminated, thus the subsequent steps should be decided by the state officials. We have done our job. When the talks between the two sides finish, Ukrenerho workers will need less than two hours to connect the line to the power supply," Bosko said.

As reported, power supply via Kakhovska-Tytan power line was halted on Dec. 30 near Bohdanivka village, the Kherson region, due to protection relay system going on, which resulted in the arrest of power supply to Crimea.

According to experts who operated on the site, the power pylon of the Kakhovska-Tytan line was damaged by an explosion. Investigation by law enforcers is underway.
