Pro-Russian militants opened fire from tommy guns at a school in Stanytsia Luhanska district of the Luhansk region at night of Jan. 1, 2016.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the Luhansk regional military civil administration's press service.

The message reads: "Yesterday, Jan. 1, 2016, unknown persons riding a motorcar fired from automated weapons at Olkhovatka school in Stanytsia Luhanska district.

"Several windows were broken in the building. No casualties reported.

"Before the incident, on Dec. 31, military experts found in the school a combined antenna, a switch, and a power adapter for receiving information from electronic devices of military and local residents located in the device's cover area," head of the Luhansk regional military civil administration Heorhii Tuka informed. "This is how terrorists revenged for the disposal of the spyware. At the moment, investigation into the incident is underway."
