The enemy again employed heavy weapons at several sections of the front over the past day but it did not affect the overall situation on the contact line.

Presidential Administration spokesman on the ATO issues Colonel Andrii Lysenko announced at a briefing today, Censor.NET reports.

"The cease-fire was observed at the Luhansk direction as before.

"At the Donetsk direction, the enemy violated the truce several times near the village of Troitske located on the border between the Luhansk and Donetsk regions during the day. The militants employed IFV gun in the evening attack there. At the same time, it was calm in the vicinity of the Luhanske village yesterday for the first time in many weeks.

"Two enemy strikes with 82-mm mortars were recorded in Zaitseve yesterday. One of the attacks was conducted from the south, the second one - from the east. The suburbs of Novhorodske village were the tensest place on the entire contact line - 12 attacks were recorded there.

"The situation in the vicinity of the Donetsk airport remained unchanged: a mortar strike impacted Pisky, while it was calm near Avdiivka.

"The enemy violated the cease-fire in Marinka at the Mariupol direction having simultaneously attacked two our strong points. The fire was accurate.

"The border patrol units recorded flights of two Mi-8 helicopters of the aggressor state at the administrative border with the occupied Crimea."
