"We are fully prepared to court action with Russia," - PM Yatseniuk

The moratorium on the payment of "Yanukovych debt" will be in force as long as the Russian Federation does not accept the conditions, under which the majority of debt holders have restructured debts owed by Ukraine.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk said at a Cabinet meeting, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"The moratorium will be in force until the time when either Russia accepts the offer of Ukraine or the court makes appropriate decision, and we are fully prepared to the court action with Russia," Yatseniuk said.

According to him, the only way for the Russian Federation to collect the debt is to restructure it under the same terms the majority of lenders have restructured debts owed by Ukraine.

"The Kremlin will not get conditions other than that proposed for other lenders, who have accepted Ukraine's proposal," Yatseniuk said.
