 Russia fails to fulfill Minsk agreements, - NSDC Secretary Turchynov

Russia has sabotaged the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.

As reported by Censor.NET citing 112 Ukraine TV channel, this was announced by the National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov at a briefing.

"Most regrettably, we have to state that Russia has totally sabotaged the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements. Let me remind you that the main demand of the Minsk agreements is withdrawal of foreign troops from Ukraine's territory, i.e. of Russian troops, and regaining of control over Ukraine-Russia border, which is currently held by the Russian occupation troops," Turchynov said.

He stressed these items were of major importance and had not been fulfilled.

"Certainly, the Minsk process will not be halted, it will be continued next year, and I really want to hope that it will be more efficient productive than this year," he said.

As reported earlier, telephone talks among the Normandy Four leaders are planned to be held on Dec. 30, during which the situation in the Donbas will be discussed, together will additional mechanisms of forcing Russia and its militants to abide by the Minsk agreements.
