 Former Berkut officers Zinchenko and Abroskin to remain in custody until Feb. 25

The Sviatoshyn district court of Kyiv has extended the detention of two former Berkut [disbanded riot police unit - ed.] officers Serhii Zinchenko and Pavlo Abroskin, accused of killing people on Maidan, until Feb. 25, 2016.

As reported by Censor.NET, Yevheniia Zakrevska, a lawyer representing the interests of Maidan victims' relatives, told Interfax-Ukraine.

At today's meeting, the court granted a corresponding motion by prosecutors.

During its recent sessions, the Sviatoshyn district court has continued to interrogate the relatives of the Heavenly Hundred and examine the evidence.

The next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 14, 2016.
