According to the head of state, the law is important for Ukraine. "Today, under the conditions of a hybrid war, it is the issue of state survival and efficient response to a hundred million worth propaganda of the aggressor country against Ukraine," the president said.

Unprejudiced presentation of information on the situation in Ukraine should be the main criterion of the international broadcasting. "This should be the criterion of efficient information policy. We shouldn't copy propaganda methods of the aggressor country. On the contrary, our journalists should tell the truth about the war in Ukraine and gain trust this way," the head of state emphasized.

The president thanked everyone involved in the development of the law - people's deputies and the Ministry of Information Policy.

Minister of Information Policy Yurii Stets assured the president that the international broadcasting reform would be completed in two months. "The world should know Ukraine as a state having not only problems, but also rich history and culture, good investment climate, great tourist opportunities, and kind people," he said.

First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information Policy in the Verkhovna Rada Olha Chervakova noted: "The multimedia platform, international broadcasting of Ukraine is actually a promotional agency of Ukraine in the world. And it is a very significant assistance to the Ukrainian diplomacy in the international arena, which is now struggling to bring the truth about Ukraine to world's leaders. To this end, the international broadcasting channel should become a powerful tool."
