 One of suspects in Kyiv shooting captured, - prosecutor's office

The suspects involved in a car attack in the Obolon district of Kyiv, which killed one person and wounded another, have been identified.

Censor.NET reports citing prosecutor's office of Kyiv press service.

One of the attackers has been apprehended. He has been notified of suspicion under part 2, article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The court has upheld the motion of the Kyiv prosecutor's office and remanded the detainee in custody.

Another person involved in the incident has also been established. He has been notified of suspicion of premeditated murder in absentia. In addition, the court has granted the request for his arrest in order to bring him to court for remanding in custody.

Investigative efforts aimed to pinpoint attacker's location are underway.

As previously reported, at around 2 a.m., Oct. 21, in the Obolon district of Kyiv at the intersection of Bohatyrska Street and Luhova Street, a taxi was attacked by unknown persons in a BMW. As a result, one person was killed. Another person was taken to hospital in a grave condition.
