According to ATO HQ intelligence, Russian militants and terrorists, who have recently occupied Kominternove village located in the so-called "gray area," are trying to urgently withdraw heavy weapons supposed to stay away from the demarcation line under the Minsk agreements.
The equipment is being moved in the direction of Zaichenko and Tavriia villages.
"Thus, Russian-led invaders are trying to mislead OSCE monitors seeking to register violations of the Minsk agreements by militants. After the mission completes the visit, the banned hardware is likely to be back in Kominternove, while militants may resort to new armed provocations against ATO forces," the statement reads.
As also noted, the cases when terrorists distort the actual situation in the temporarily occupied territories are a common phenomenon.
In turn, ATO command closely monitors changes in the operational environment in this area. Ukrainian units stay on alert and ready for an adequate response to any possible challenges and threats on the part of occupants.
