Minister Demchyshyn about Russian gas: "They need to lower price below $200"

Ukraine will buy gas from Russia in the first quarter of 2016 only if the price is less than $200 per 1,000 m³.

As reported by Censor.NET referring to Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn.

"The Russians know that in order to be competitive they need to reduce the price to less than $200. And it's not about some discounts, it's about market conditions," he said.
