 Militants employed tank and 82-mm mortars against Ukrainian troops’ positions at Mariupol direction, - ATO speaker. MAP

The enemy committed armed provocations against the ATO forces on all fronts over the past 24 hours. In particular, at the Mariupol direction, the militants used heavy weapons – a tank and 82-mm mortars, banned by the Minsk accords.

Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO matters Colonel Andrii Lysenko announced today at a briefing, Censor.NET reports.

The report reads: "Two enemy strikes with 120-mm mortars were recorded near Stanytsia Luhanska at the Luhansk direction yesterday. Both lasted about 20 minutes and were indiscriminate.

"A short clash between the ATO forces and the invaders took place near Troitske and Popasna villages.

"As for the Donetsk direction, it was relatively calm at Svitlodarsk salient yesterday. Just several provocations with the use of anti-tank guided missiles, grenade launchers, and small arms were recorded there. The situation somewhat escalated on the northern outskirts of Horlivka: besides several provocations in Zaitseve, the enemy employed 82-mm mortars. Attacks of the enemy snipers as well as assaults with the use of other weapons including IFV guns were recorded in Novhorodske during the day.

"The situation on the western outskirts of Donetsk remained unchanged: the enemy kept committing attacks along the entire front line between Avdiivka and Marinka without use of heavy weapons.

"At the Mariupol direction, the enemy employed heavy weapons (tank once and 82-mm mortars twice) near Krasnohorivka: two strikes were committed from the direction of terrorists-held Staromykhailivka which lasted about five minutes. The enemy also violated truce near Hranitne, where militants used small arms.

"No flights of enemy drones were recorded in the ATO area yesterday."
