As reported by Censor.NET, interior minister's adviser Anton Herashchenko announced on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"The circumstances of the incident are being clarified. I believe the criminals will be apprehended and severely punished. The one who shot and killed a man can get sentenced up to life imprisonment," Herashchenko said.
He said that the incident occurred on the grounds of "a dispute involving drinking alcohol."
"Two groups of people were spending time in one of the Obolon district cafes. A conflict occurred between them. First, there was a skirmish involving some fighting. Then, the companies dispersed, after which representatives of one of the groups chased down the opposing party and fired two shots supposedly with a fowling piece. As a result, one person was killed and one was wounded," Herashchenko said.
Also, as reported by dtp.kiev.ua, in the Obolon district of Kyiv at the intersection of Bohatyrska Street and Luhova Street, at around 2 a.m., a taxi was attacked by unknown persons in a BMW. As a result, one person was killed. Another person was taken to hospital in a grave condition.
