 Over 80 percent of young people proud to live in Ukraine, – opinion poll

81 percent of Ukrainian young people said they were proud to be citizens of Ukraine.

This is evidenced by the sociological survey Youth of Ukraine-2015, conducted by GfK Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.

8 percent said they were not proud of Ukrainian citizenship and about 11 percent of the respondents were unable to answer the question.

91 percent of respondents consider themselves ethnic Ukrainians, with 6 percent having said they were Russian. 1 percent said they were representatives of other nationalities, while 4 percent of respondents hesitated.

44 percent of Ukrainian young people said they want to live in Ukraine and do not plan to emigrate. Another 38 percent wish to learn or work abroad for a while, but return to Ukraine later. 17 percent of young people would like to emigrate from Ukraine, while 4 percent plan to do so in the near future. 13 percent are looking for an appropriate opportunity.
