 Ukrainian soldiers forced to open retaliation fire near Luhanske village, - ATO press center

Ukrainian servicemen engaged in a skirmish with pro-Russian militants in the vicinity of Luhanske yesterday afternoon. The terrorists committed almost 20 attempts to invite retaliation of the Ukrainian troops from 6 p.m. yesterday.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center.

According to the headquarters, terrorists fired at the ATO forces positions near Pisky, Marinka, Zaitseve, Novhorodske, Luhanske, and Kodema with small arms, heavy machine guns, and grenade launchers.

"Before midnight, the militants committed two armed provocations against the ATO forces deployed in Novhorodske and in Krasnohorivka once using 82-mm mortars.

It is also reported that attacks of the enemy snipers have been recorded in Novhorodske, Luhanske, and Pisky yesterday evening.

In addition, the enemy drone flight was recorded in the airspace of temporarily occupied Donetsk yesterday at about 10 p.m.

"According to an update, Ukrainian servicemen engaged in a skirmish with a small group of invader soldiers in the vicinity of Luhanske yesterday afternoon. The soldiers of the ATO forces were forced to open fire with small arms, and the enemy retreated," the headquarters added.
