 EU ready to expand its markets to Ukrainian goods, - Poroshenko on Putin's decision to terminate FTA with Ukraine

The European Union is ready to grant Ukrainian goods broader access to its markets.

President Petro Poroshenko said during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, Belgium, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"Yesterday, taking into account Russia's statement [on suspending the agreement on free trade area with Ukraine from Jan. 1, 2016 - ed.], we held preliminary talks in the format of the Association Council on expanding access for Ukrainian producers to European markets and received full and approving decision of our partners in the European Union," Poroshenko said.

The president also suggested that Russia's decision was another phase of a trade war against Ukraine.
