 Terrorists provoked ATO forces 20 times yesterday; situation most tense in Donetsk direction, - HQ

Pro-Russian terrorists made about 20 attempts to provoke ATO forces for retaliate fire last night. However, they did not use heavy artillery weapons.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center on Facebook.

According to the HQ, the situation is the most tense in the Donetsk direction.

"From evening till midnight shelling of the ATO forces' units from small arms was recorded in Pisky and Opytne. Pisky and Avdiivka were also fired at by enemy snipers," the message reads.

It is also reported that pro-Russian separatists were conducting unaimed fire from grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns against Leninske and Zaitseve, not far from temporarily occupied Horlivka. In Svitlodarsk vicinity, they shelled Luhanske using large-caliber machine guns.


"Four cases of cease-fire violation by pro-Russian armed gangs were recorded after midnight. All of them were conducted using small arms near Pisky. Ukrainian defenders did not rise to the aggressor's provocations," the HQ added.
