 Estonia set to turn its citizen who fought alongside "LPR" to Ukraine

Estonian government decided Dec. 16 to hand its citizen over to Ukraine, claiming he took part in hostilities in the Donbas in 2014 on the side of the so-called "Luhannsk People's Republic."

"The government has decided to turn an Estonian citizen over to Ukraine, who is accused of involvement in a terrorist organization," Estonian government press service wrote.

Ukraine applied for turning over the detainee in accordance with the provisions of the European Convention, as well as the Estonian-Ukrainian agreement on legal assistance and legal relationship in civil, family and criminal matters.
