EC President Juncker excludes any delay on EU-Ukraine DCFTA

The last opportunity to find common ground on a free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU can be used in Russia-Ukraine-EU tripartite talks in Brussels on Dec. 21.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, it was announced by President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.

The meeting will take place on Dec. 21. This is the last chance to find common ground. All parties should meet at the table and try to find ways of cooperation, he told reporters before Ukraine-EU mini-summit in Brussels on Wednesday evening.

He also stressed that the EU-Ukraine DCFTA would take effect on Jan. 1, 2016, and nothing could happen to influence it either directly or indirectly.
