 Yanukovych “mafia” records found in Kyiv, - Avakov. PHOTO

The Minister of Internal affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov informed the members of the government on completion of a special operation.

Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk said at a government meeting, Censor.NET correspondent reports.

"Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has just informed the members of the government on a special operation carried out by the National Police and State Fiscal Service with the support of the Prosecutor General's Office. Our law enforcers have found the largest ever records of Yanukovych and his cronies as a result of this raid," the prime minister said.

In turn, Arsen Avakov said that the records were searched for over several months.

"This includes original documents regarding Mezhyhiria, all original documents of transactions by the companies of MAKO group, personal documents of Yanukovych including his pension certificate, turnover of a number of companies including foreign ones," the minister said.

The State Fiscal Service representative explained that the documents were found in one of the private apartments in Kyiv during a raid within the criminal case into money laundering centers.

In particular, seals of more than 330 offshore companies, and entitling documents for real estate and land plots in Kyiv and the Kyiv region were meant.
