 Ukrainian Armed Forces received 3,600 pieces of weapons and equipment in 2015 - Ministry of Defense

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received 3,649 pieces of weapons and equipment in 2015.

Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Dmytro Hutsuliak said at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

According to him, 400,000 pieces of ammunition, 60 tank guns, 625 thermal and optical sights, 50 ground-based radars, 640 firearms, 1000 silencers, 30 anti-tank missile systems, 602 vehicles, 19 upgraded planes and helicopters and 28 pieces of electronic equipment for them, as well as five drones were delivered.

At the same time Dmytro Hutsuliak noted that the Ministry of Defense had signed 104 contracts for the delivery of equipment worth of five billion hryvnia (about $200 million) in 2015.
