According to the Service, in the night of Dec. 14 bad weather conditions (gusts of wind) caused protection systems of power pylons on, leaving 147 villages in nine regions of Ukraine without electricity, including 28 villages in the Rivne region, 21 villages in the Lviv region, 19 villages in the Ternopil region, 18 villages in the Zhytomyr region, 17 villages in the Vinnytsia region, 14 villages in he Khmelnytskyi region, six villages in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, and three villages in the Kyiv region.
Regional energy supply companies' brigades are actively involved in repair works.
