‘LPR’ terrorists deny having anything to do with assassination of Dremov

Leaders of the so-called ‘LPR’ try to dissociate themselves from the elimination of the Cossack Ataman Pavel Dremov.

Among the "official" versions of the incident, the terrorists mention a Ukrainian sabotage-reconnaissance group or careless handling of ammunition, Censor.NET reports citing the militants' news agency.

"According to our operative information, the car has exploded. It is too early to draw a conclusion. The investigation continues. Most likely, а Ukrainian sabotage-reconnaissance group has something to do with this explosion. We also consider the version of political assassination and, which might sound a little bit weird, of careless handling of ammunition. We are going to check all of them," Leonid Tkachenko, 'chief of the investigation department of the terrorist prosecutor's office' said.

At the same time, Tkachenko said nothing about the conflict of Dremov and the "LPR' leadership. For example, Dremov blamed Igor Plotnitsky for theft and treason.

Thus, Dremov's death, as the earlier deaths of other 'LPR' terrorists' leaders (Bednov, Ishchenko, Mozgovoy), could be a result of disputes between the uncontrolled Cossack leaders and their Russian curators.
