 Poland’s president Duda proposes to expand Normandy format talks on Donbas

Poland wants to play a more active role in the negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in the Donbas and speak for changing Normandy format.

Press Secretary of the President of Poland Marek Magierowski said, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

According to him, a broader format of talks on solving of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is in need.

Magierowski recalled that the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda has repeatedly talked about including Ukraine's neighboring countries and the United States in the negotiations to "pressure on Russia to be more effective."

President of Poland Andrzej Duda will pay an official visit to Ukraine on Dec.14-15.
