Ukrainian army captured seven Ukrainian villages, Russia’s representative Churkin says at UN SC meeting

Russia claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine took control over seven villages at the demarcation line.

This was stated by Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"Dec. 4, the Ukrainian side without authorization, violating the existing agreements, captured seven villages, which were in the buffer zone beyond control of both parties at the time of signing (of agreements) in Minsk," he said.

At the same time Russia's permanent representative did not specify which villages exactly were occupied by the Ukrainian troops. According to him, the Ukrainian soldiers must leave these villages.
