 Transparency International ranks Yanukovych among world’s top 15 corrupt officials

Fugitive president Viktor Yanukovych got in Unmask the Corrupt list settled for the opinion poll by human rights organization Transparency International.

According to the official website of the survey, 4.5 million people around the world have already taken part in it while the vote can still be cast until Feb. 10, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

The team of experts compiled top-15 list of criminals based on the key selection criteria: best fit with their definition of grand corruption, history of going unpunished, international in nature to highlight the need for changing the system and, of great importance, that the cases selected do not pose safety, security or libel risks to anyone.

Yanukovych is third in the list.

Number one is Dominican Republic Senator Felix Bautista and the second place is after Brazil's state-controlled oil company Petrobras.

Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Akhmad Kadyrov Foundation owned by father of the current leader of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov are in the list as well.
