 Rada appeals to foreign parliaments to extend and step up sanctions against Russia

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has addressed the parliaments of other countries, the European Parliament, and international parliamentary assemblies, calling for the extension and expansion of sanctions against the Russian Federation for its orchestration of terrorism in Ukraine.

The corresponding draft resolution No. 3625 has been supported by 239 deputies, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax.

The initiators of the act are people's deputies Iryna Friz, Iryna Herashchenko, Mariia Ionova, Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze (Poroshenko Bloc faction), as well as non-affiliated Hanna Hopko and Pavlo Kyshkar.
