 "Ukraine fulfilled all EU visa-free regime criteria," - Yatseniuk

Ukraine has fulfilled all requirements to be granted a visa-free regime with the European Union.

Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk said during today's report in the parliament, Censor.NET informs.

"I have just returned from the European Union where I had a meeting with the president of the European Commission and a number of European commissioners. You and I did a challenging job, had difficult discussions on the visa-free package... But despite all the debates and all the stress, we've managed to vote these laws, and I can clearly state that Ukraine has fulfilled all the criteria for introducing a visa-free regime. On Dec. 15, the report [on Ukraine's progress in achieving visa liberalization criteria - ed.] is to be released. Ukraine deserves having EU border open for its citizens, as well as the EU does in case with Ukraine's border," Yatseniuk said.
