Putin wants to avoid supplies of Ukrainian energy in occupied Crimea

After Russia’s energy bridge from Kuban to occupied Crimea reaches its planned ultimate capacity, the supply of power from mainland Ukraine will be stopped.

This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Censor.NET informs citing Gazeta.ru.

"We must not allow that when we will have fully supplied Crimea through four transmission lines and fully covered the supplies from Ukraine, it is unacceptable that we would have long-term contracts for the supply of energy from Ukraine in Crimea, if we will not need it," he said.

Putin also noted that the Ukrainian authorities should be notified of the decision in advance.
