 Putin orders Finance Minister to sue Ukraine for nonpayment of $3 billion loan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Finance Minister Anton Siluanov to sue Ukraine in connection with the non-payment of the $3 billion loan.

He gave corresponding order today during a meeting with members of the government, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"Okay, well then, bring the case before the court,"- Putin said having heard the report of the Minister of Finance on the situation with nonpayment of the Ukrainian debt.

In response to the information of Siluanov that the U.S. has refused to provide guarantee for future payments of the sovereign debt of Ukraine Vladimir Putin said: "It's weird. If they are so confident in the solvency of the country for the next year, they should somehow participate to share the risks over the next four years."
